Stay at the castle in The Dordogne Deception

Here's a little travel treat for you. Remember my novel, THE DORDOGNE DECEPTION? Thanks to Robin Benzle who stayed there to film the interior (and buy books from me for the entire crew), here's the castle's grounds and interior set to music. I, of course, made the size of the castle, land, # rooms etc. even larger and changed the name to Roufillay in my novel, but the rest is exactly as it was, and still is. You'll have a chance to see the owner, Isabelle Grasse talk about the history of the chateau. Enjoy! Seeing this clip brought back so many memories, without the storm and lightning strikes we experienced. As you walk the hallways, you'll see slanted beams where we ducked to avoid hitting our heads, the massive (I mean 'castle massive' doors, furnishings, and marvelous setting above the Dordogne River.
