About Sherry

 Former World-wide Vice President of Human Resources for a number of high-tech firms in Silicon Valley, she is the owner of SJDESIGNS Interiors, and SHERRY JOYCE CREATIVE WRITING SERVICES. Sherry is the author of THE DORDOGNE DECEPTION, a romantic suspense novel. A feature writer for BEHIND THE GATES for two years, she's now a guest feature writer for THE HILLS LIVING magazine, is a member of Capitol Crimes/Sacramento chapter of Sisters In Crime, Northern California Publishers & Authors, Romance Writers of America,  California Writer’s Club and Women's National Book Association, San Francisco. Sherry was recently published in NCPA’s Anthology, OUR DANCE WITH WORDS, with a humorous caper, COZUMEL CALAMITY and Capitol Crime's Anthology, MURDER BY CONCLUSION.  Her second romantic suspense novel, DANGEROUS DUPLICITY was released for pre-launch in January, and at her book launch April 28th, 2017.

Sherry Joyce’s debut fiction, THE DORDOGNE DECEPTION was conceived when the tower of the French chateau where she was vacationing was struck by lightning.  When Sherry Joyce isn’t plotting her next romantic suspense, she enjoys reading, art, music, golf and  travel with her husband and spoiling her beloved West Highland Terriers, Abby and Effie .

DANGEROUS DUPLICITY was written from the experience of losing my husband's sister at a very young age from Cystic Fibrosis. Overcoming grief became the theme of the story, along with a troubled romance, the search for justice to solve a murder and the protagonist inadvertently becoming embroiled  in solving yet another murder.  Of course, it's a love story, but it's really about a family, a mother with an illness, several siblings, and a father who runs one of the largest yachting companies on the Riviera.  The most frequent praise is once you start the novel, you won't be able to put it down—and yes, there is a sequel in the works.
